Appleton creates product solutions through the development and use of coating formulations, coating applications and encapsulation technology. The Company proudly manufactures specialty papers and is a global leader in the carbonless, thermal, and security paper markets.

Appleton was founded in 1907 in Appleton, Wisconsin, and has since grown into a global company with over 1,900 employees and seven manufacturing plants. Appleton is 100% employee-owned.
